It seems this game is really making a push this past week, but I'm afraid we are gonna run out of time. Is it possible to extend it another week?

Nope!

You can do a new KickStarter, but you cannot extend a campaign. Too bad!

The posting of the rules was a big step. Now it is really just spreading the word and getting people to look at the rules.

You would be amazed at how much traction a Kickstarter project can make in the last days of a campaign. It's not over until it's over.

It made $1,500.00 in the past 24ish hours... it looks possible.

Would only need 35 new backers a day at $55.00.

Well, spread the word then! Share, post, thumb, tweet, like! We can do it!

One question that might help - what is the MSRP of the game?

In other words, is $55 'a deal'?

For vague projects this is less of an issue, but when a game is going to be printed next month, you are sort of competing against yourself, esp. if it is going to be printed regardless of the campaign.

It is about the same as MSRP, but the KS will have more... ninjas, giant apes, etc. Also, all backers will receive a PvD tshirt if we reach our funding goal.

Let's go PvD!!

Edit: For tshirts, Jim (from Jolly Roger Games) mentioned that backers at $30 or higher may get a free shirt if we reach $23,000.

Plus, the component quality will be higher if the KS campaign succeeds.

what happens to the backers if it didn't fund? No rewards of any kind I assume?

There's an update on KS for that.

Right now--I'm expecting the final MSRP to be $55-65. I can't do a better estimate than that at the moment because some will depend on the game's physical weight AND the print-run size.

$55 is a pretty decent bargain since I'm expecting priority shipping for individual games to be between $12-18, depending on where it ships in the US.

For international people--shipping is probably in the US$30-38 range.

Again--this will depend on the final physical weight of the components. Right now--my 'best guess' (and that's what it is--a guess!!) is that a game will be about 4-4.5lb pounds (2kg)
