I do apologize for the delay, but I have been waiting to see what plans Zvezda had in regard to expansions for Samurai Battles. I specially wanted to make sure that I did not get ahead of the game and post content, scenario or unit wise, that was planned for a future expansion. I also found it a little difficult to develop scenarios, when I just did not know which or how many units players may have added to their army collection, because of the success of Samurai Battles mini-kit unit sales.

So for now, I am posting four new Commands & Colors scenarios, here at BBG and on the Zvezda Samurai Battles web site. The important point for all four of these battles is that they only require the components and figures/units found in one core game.

Samurai Battles Commands & Colors scenarios:
• #9 - First Azuki-zaka 1542
• #10 - Second Azuki-zaka 1548
• #11 - Okehazama 1560 - Border Fort Marune
• #12 - Okehazama 1560 - Dengakuhazama Gorge

For those fans wishing for grander battles, that is, scenarios with more units, I am totally with you on this point. We have played many, many, many larger games and I truly believe that Commands & Colors scenarios with a few more units allow players to experience the true depth and playability of all that the Commands & Colors rules have to offer. To that end, I also plan to post a couple of these larger scenarios that will require the units from two core games.

One final note for now, Zvezda does indeed have plans for a number of bigger expansions, but I am not at liberty to say what these planned expansions are about at this point in time.

Thanks and Enjoy!

In my opinion, as long as there are small figure sets available, it's OK to publish scenarios that contain a few extra units. If there are really compelling scenarios available, it will make gamers and the publisher happy.[/q]

I don't see the scenarios in either site. I presume that the site admins are working on it and that it will be posted in the next few days?

I'm looking forward to them. Thanks much.

That's a very nice gesture of you, Mr. Borg. It's good to hear that there's more in the pipeline for this great game.

Could some please tell me where the link is for the four new scenarios that Richard Borg sent in. I have looked everywhere I can think of and have not found them.

Many thanks,

Larry

Mike,

Thank you very much, was beginning to think I was crazy (or just a guy as my wife tells me when I can't find something).

I noticed that as well, but I don't really mind, since the amount of C&C scenario's for this game has now been increased by 50%!

Domo arigato Mr Borgato!

The four new scenarios was good news in and of itself, but this is downright intriguing!
There, I said it: intriguing!
