I was wondering what would be the pro's and con's if Kickstarter ever went public and had shares on the stock exchange. Kickstarter since it's birth in April 28, 2009 it has grown exponentially and now raises thousands of dollars for dreamers every day. . . would you invest ? Could it be the next NetFlix or Google !

If I had the money to I would put some money into it. But I don't... I'd put some imaginary money into it.

I would be in. Finding the shortest route to the end customer is a game in and of itself. And they are currently far ahead.

Maybe Kickstarter should have a kickstarter campaign to fund it going public?

Better yet, I need a kickstarter to amass enough funds for a hostile takeover of Kickstarter once it goes public! ninja
