Svea Rike: Batalj » Strategy » A game about the grand Era of Sweden?

Author: millrind
I am interessted in if there is any game on the market
like Svea rike but more of a wargame like tabletop with
soldiers, guns, cavalry and ships?
I am also interessted in making a game of my own that
would be a simulation of the history-period 1600-1750
when Sweden was a strong nation in the baltics.
Are there anyone out there that have the same plans like me?

If it is tactical gaming you are interested in you could have a look at
Sweden Fights On. This game covers the battles of Nördlingen, Wittstock and Jankau.
You can also check out Gustav Adolf the Great: With God and Victorious Arms which deals with, among other battles, Lützen and Breitenfeld.
Another game from the same publisher, but older and with slightly different rules, is Lion of the North which also deals with Lützen and Breitenfeld.
Game scales are 90 metres per hex, 30 minutes per game turn.

A game at a higher level would perhaps be Pax Baltica but I have as yet been unable to obtain a copy. Hopefully GMT Games will re-publish it.

Unfortunately I do not know of any naval wargame covering the 1600-1700 era.

Edit: And I forgot to mention Nothing Gained But Glory. This has not been published yet but will be this year. It belongs to the same series as Sweden fights on and Gustav Adolf the Great and will cover, among other battles, Lund and Landskrona.

Also, GMT may publish Won by the Sword.
