BoardGameGeek » General Gaming » Question about Games hard to find in the U.S.

Author: dblayton
Hey! I'm at school for a few more months here in England. I'm thinking of picking up a couple more games, but I was wondering if there was a list of games that are hard to find in the U.S. because they are only available in England.

I'm thinking of buying Jager Und Sammler for example, already picked up Looping Louie, and would love to get a new copy of Finca.

I'm hoping someone has already put up a list though, but I can't find it.

Any help would be muchly appreciated.

Finca is still available on this side of the Atlantic and is quite fun to play! thumbsup

Whilst they are all probably still available in North America, it must be worth splashing out on a collection of games from The Works. GBP7.99 each for brand new copies of Cuba, Royal Palace, Oregon, YS, Sylla, Assyria, Batavia and many others has got to be a bargain.

That's if you can find a branch with any left!

Magnum Sal can be hard to find in the US. The only copies available are being imported from UK distributors as there is no US one.

King of Tokyo ... great game currently out of print. I just had one brought back from England for me by a neice living over there.

I already scored Batavia, Hamburgum, Montego Bay (5 quid), Oregon, and Aqua Romana from that. Haven't found the others.

Couldn't have waited until March?

I know the Battle for Hoth LEGO Board Game isn't getting a US release - could be worth getting a couple and bringing them back to the US?
