Count me in for all things geek! Comic books, rock n' roll, Mighty Boosh series,It Crowd series and Monty Python.
As a kid I loved BASIC (programming language) and would spend a lot of time in front of a green screen machine creating very simple games (mind you, I'm really bad in Maths tough).
The industry I work at now is motion graphics, design and animation. I'm really lucky to make a living from something that I'm passionate about.
My journey into board games begun as an attempt to rescue old children memories, but I got soon blew away by the amount of new mechanics, themes and fun they can provide, regardless how old you are.
I tend to like light to medium weight games, and I couldn't care less about extreme non-luck driven games, specially those where you are a haughty medieval king, living in a high hill castle packed with persian kittens.
Before playing to win, I play to have a good laugh and a great time with friends or/and family.
To hell with the perfect strategy. Bring me dice and a handful of bad cards drawn.
(ps. I'm also fed up with the worker placement mechanic fever)
