I live in Seattle Washington with my wife and two boys (19 & 21). More than anything else, I enjoy spending time with my family. I teach world and U.S. history as well as Psychology and Sociology at a local high school. I also teach language arts classes but not as often. I received a BA in Social Studies as well as Language Arts at the University of Washington and later an M-Div at Fuller Seminary. After working for 11 years in Young Life I moved into public education. I am also an associate pastor at my church, the Jesus Christ Salt and Light Company, in Kent Washington. I really enjoy both of my jobs.
I grew up in a family of gamers. As a family we would play mostly card games such as Hearts and Pinochle. My brothers and friends would play other games such as Chess, Risk, Stratego, and others. I became immersed in gaming when I was introduced to Dungeons and Dragons as a sophomore in high school. For the next several years this group would meet weekly to hack our way through the world. During these years however other games would find their way to the table. We picked up games like Dune, Kremlin, Diplomacy, Third Reich and many others. These games got more and more table time and D & D slowly faded. Three of us from that group are still gaming together today.
