When I was a child, I already played loads of games with my brother, like Stratego, Monopoly, Risk, Carrière and Master Mind. When I turned 18 (my brother is 2,5 years younger) we started looking for more intelligent games. We found Shogun and Axis & Allies, which changed us into "addicted gamers". A few years after finishing my study as a youth worker, in 1998 I was asked to work at 999 Games, a big board and games publisher in the Netherlands. Although I'm living in Hungary now with my wife and children, I still work for 999 Games as translator/copywriter/games tester/scout. Almost all translations are done by me.
My favorite game is by far Twilight Struggle, which is so exciting, even after playing more than 300 games. But I also like (semi) cooperative games like Legends of Andor, Flash Point and Letters from Whitechapel.
I'm organizing quite some gaming events during the year. They can be found on my website: www.unitedfriends.eu
