Bartending, cross-stitching, board games, and so many other hobbies it'd be a chore to list them all. Interested in many, master of none.A note on how I rate games:
I'm a rather practical person, so I know that I can't always get people together to play games. Hence, a large portion of my collection has solitaire options to it, so that when I buy them, they don't just sit on a shelf forever. Additionally, I enjoy PnP (when I can afford the ink), and I enjoy casual competition between friends (I don't care for being "the greatest" at a particular game, nor do I spend my nights reading up on optimal strategy). Because of my range of interests, my ratings do not all relate to one another. My ratings only apply to other games in that "group," such as:
- PnP (PnPs only rated against other PnPs)
- Competitive (Catan, Carc, etc)
- Co-op (Ghost Stories, Flash Point, etc)
- Solitaire, or at least what I play solitaire (Friday, Death Hulk, etc)
So a 7 on a PnP game does not equal a 7 on a published co-op game. It gets a little hairy when we start mixing categories (Race for the Galaxy, for example, with both competitive and solitaire aspects), but I'll probably just make notes in the comments for things like that.My BGG Accolades:
