Race for the Galaxy is one your top games, yet Eminent Domain is one of your Hot 10. Do you think Eminent Domain will unseat RftG for you, and why (or why not)?
Unseat? Not a chance. Race has far more cards and more interactions that I really enjoy. However, Eminent Domain is much easier to teach and has some fun mechanics.
You very definitely appear to enjoy co-ops. How do you avoid the quarterbacking issue that plagues so many gaming groups, or does the problem not come up?
Our group has been playing together alot, and coops we have a lot of discussions rather than one person quarterbacking. We also try to stay true to games that say to not tell what cards we have. We hint things "I can take care of this, if you want to do something else" or "Can anyone take care of this, because I sure can't". We play more for the experience as opposed to truly worrying about winning. Although we always try to win of course.
If you had to determine the winner of a Battle Royale between the forces of Scifi, Fantasy, and the Undead, assuming they somehow began on even footing, which would emerge triumphant?
Hmmm, as a villian zombies are just awesome. No one has a problem fighting them. And I love my scifi and I cannot wait for the Star Wars LCG. But fantasy wins the battle hands down. Steel & sorcery make for great stories.
