I'm a professor of biology at a small liberal arts college in rural Kansas. My research focus is on the ecology and evolution of reproductive behavior, particularly in fish. I'm working on a few biologically themed games while spending a sabbatical at a nearby children's science museum.
I mainly game with my kids. Anna is 10 and consistently beats me at Dominion by ignoring all my well thought out strategic advice. My son, Sam, is 14 and still takes time out from video games and soccer to let me beat him at chess. He beats me at everything else.
