Ave, my fellow geeks,
My name is Haring.
I got into gaming through Dune
, which was the holy game my father owned since 1979 (so even before I was born). Yet seeing this game standing in our bookcase made me wanna play games.
When I finally learned to play Dune (I think i was 12), I played it with every one I could find.
In the same time I learned to play Mahjong
In the followig it became of more submerged hobby (no time, uncool, etc..), but the spark was re-fired I bought a house with my girlfriend. We bought ourselfs a copy of Nautilus
(which we couldn't fit on our dining table, so we used play in the garden or ground), and afterwards a lot of other games followed.
We regularly play just with the 2 of us, but almost every weekend we sit toghtether with friends or family to play a bigger game.
Lately I'm becoming more of a solo player, which I'm really enjoying. Perhaps this is due to the fact that I'm converting to wargames more then before. These games for be offer challenges if it comes to multiplayer.
Besides games I mostly spent my time (besides work) with my son & working/driving my Land Rover Defender 130 & Chevy pick up.Avatar info:
My avatar contains the bold image of the leader of the Cuban revolution, Fidel Castro (proudly annoying americans since 1959).
