I've been enjoying this hobby since the mid-1980's. First with wargames, then expanding to rpg's, finance games, collectibles, then ultimately Euros. I still love each genre, and have many games of each in my large collection.
Any game that makes me think (about gameplay, not rules) is a good game. I love gateway and intro level games just as much as monster wargames and other massive game systems.
While I try to be a consumer advocate, I also appreciate the contributions of many retailers. More choices for the shopper is always better, whether they be choice of games, or choice of retailer, online or B&M.
Away from the game table, I still have a dizzying array of interests. Professional sports, music, movies, 70's and 80's video games, classic television, and dining at a variety of restaurants also consume my leisure time. Most times, I can contribute to just about any conversation.
You'll find me entangled in the occasional tussle in the forums here, or I can provide some insightful commentary. Feel free to check the many GeekLists I've created, covering gaming and some of my other interests.
