I live in Centralia, MO, site of the infamous massacre of union soldiers by Bloody Bill Anderson and his guerrilla band during the Civil War.
I belong to the Mid Missouri Strategy Gamers group from Columbia MO, and we meet up every Tuesday night at the local game store: Valhalla's Gate.
It's hard to say what my favorite types of games are, as my taste has varied and evolved over the years. If I have fun playing it, the genre really doesn't matter. Currently on my game shelf you can find heavily thematic games, euro-games, hex and counter wargames, and lots of stuff in between. Lately, however, it seems that given the choice, I gravitate toward the historically based conflict games (my fancy name for wargames).
I work weird hours, and don't have as much time for gaming as I'd like, but who does? I also enjoy playing on Vassal with Skype, so if there's something you'd like to play, send my a geekmail.
When I'm not playing games or working, I enjoy a myriad of other activities like riding my motorcycle, spending time with my family, woodworking and building plastic models.
