Greetings! For those who wish to propose a trade, let me start my profile with this quote:
A game like Caverna is going to cost $15 to ship. He could sell it for its true value in the marketplace, have the buyer pay shipping, and use the money on whatever he wants. It's ridiculous to send an expensive game and pay $15 just to get a $30 in-print game!
Now about me...
I have been into board games ever since the mid 70's, when I was a child. My mother enjoyed playing games, and my 2 sisters and I would have game nights with her. Boggle and Careers were our two most played games.
In the mid 80's to early 90's I played many games with one of my sisters and our 3 friends. Risk was played almost every time we got together, with Scotland Yard and Rage close behind.
I married my wife in the fall of 1997. Our first daughter was born in 1999 and our second was born in 2000.
After the death of both her parents, my wife decided to go to college. She is now a graduate with a Masters Degree in Physics.
In June 2013 my place of employment announced their upcoming closing, and in November I was laid off. This was the third time that I was employed by a company long enough to get a 5 year pin, but not long enough to get a 10 year pin. I officially hate Corporate America.
