I loved board games as a kid and young adult, but living in a small town in Nebraska, it was always hard to find someone that wanted to play. When video games came along it was an overwhelming call. There was always a game waiting and an opponent ready to play.
Years of PC and console games pass.
Now that my children are grown we have rediscovered the social aspects and the joy of board games. We get together a few times a month and try out new games. Much, much better than trying to play video games together and staring at the tv rather than visiting and laughing.
I first began logging game-plays on January 1st, 2009.
My top 10 games are very much dependent on my mood and who is playing.
My hot 10 games are my most recent purchases.
(Sometimes because they are 'hot', but also because I just now discovered them or found a good deal on them.)
