I grew up in a game playing family. From a young age, I was playing Risk, Stratego, Careers and Monopoly, and card games such as Rook and Rummy.
As a teenager, I played a lot of Avalon Hill games, strat-o-matic football and baseball, and D&D. I continued playing games through college then lost interest for several years.
Around 1997, I started reading about German games on the internet. I bought a few of them from Boulder Games and introduced my girlfriend, Melissa, to this style of game. We both became hooked on them.
Melissa and I are now married with two children, ages

12. Much of our gaming is done with the children and we are always looking for games that we all can enjoy.
