"I will take love wherever I find it, and offer it to everyone who will take it. Seek knowledge from those wiser, and teach those who wish to learn." -Duane Allman
I don't really know what to say about myself. I've always been a fan of games. Some of my earliest memories are playing board games on family game night or at church socials. In the late 70s early 80s I got into video/computer games, but still enjoyed board games and RPGs. I remember Axis and Allies games that lasted whole weekends.
In my late teen years, late 80s early 90s I sort of stopped playing board games much. I'd play some party games with the family at holidays, but that was about it. Mid 90's I started playing Magic and quickly burned out on it after about a year. Way to expensive. Late 90s I started to play some Risk/Monopoly with some friends once a week or so.
Then I kinda fell out of the hobby again. Mid naughts my buddy,
, started getting into these things called Euro games. I fell in love with the hobby again and haven't looked back.
Currently I'm a member of Eastern Pennsylvania Gaming Society we meet the first and third Saturday of every month at the Oxford Valley Mall. I enjoy all kinds of games. Doesn't matter what label you want to give them, chances are I can find something fun in them. If not, well there's plenty of other great games out there to try next!
