As a recent transplant to the East Bay and a new(ish) Dad, I'm rediscovering my life a little bit every day. I've started a blog about my experiences as a father and as a gamer (Confessions of an RPG Gamer Dad
) and hopefully I'll be able to post at least one or two times a week.
Also, I enjoy documenting the games that come my way, even if I'm ultimately going to send them on to someone else. I'm proud of my Golden Meeple which represents a lot of site contributions & my membership in the RPGGeek Hall of Fame.
I'm an active RPGer, both as a player and a GM, but I have a great appreciation for boardgames. I occasionally appear on the Hero Games boards as CorPse
. I play and run a fair amount of Hero! I've also gotten more interested in indie RPGs and I'm enjoying letting them influence my GMing style.
As for boardgames, I typically enjoy games that have relatively simple rules, but that turn out to have deep strategies.
And, oh, yes, I like to go to conventions to run and play games when I can... Conventions AttendedGenCon
