I'm a 30-ish year old
Finn living with my lovely wife Linda (Blue_rose)
, Finland (approx. 50km west of Helsinki)
. My mother-tongue is Swedish
as I belong to a 6% minority of Finland that are inclined that way. I also speak Finnish (quite obligatory when living in Finland
), English and a handful made-up languages
and funny accents
The games in my collection are all
the games in our
shelves. I came to the conclusion that we can say that all the games are both's since we're hopefully going to be living under the same roof for a very looong
I love all
kinds of games but trick-taking card games
and heavy thematic games
are close to my heart. Also medium weight wargames are very welcome. I mostly play with my wife and/or with my brother Mosse
but I'm also a member of the secret boardgame society Eftersvett
- our own regional boardgaming club.
As for the videogames
, what can I say?Tactical first person shooters
is the best time of day, but there are always other points of interests too. Sometimes the first person shooters doesn't have to be very tactical, but straight out shooters aren't really up my alley. And the first person might sometimes be third
Then there's the racing games which I preferably drive with my Logitech GT-driverset
. Even though I like more simulation:ish racinggames, it's more important that they're fun. That's why the FlatOut-series and TrackMania are the big favorites of all times.
Flying with the aid of a joystick is always great fun, although I'm just starting to dip my toes in to that pool. And when all of that is listed there's still the puzzlers and adventure-games.
Even though I enjoy playing games in single player-mode, the best thing will always be co-operative fighting and especially if it's at the side of my LUC-brethren. Part of the greatest co-operative gamingforce
on earth; the Länsi Uusimaa Chapter [LUC]
. We might not be the best of the best in performance, but we certainly are the Gods of enjoying our gamingtime.
Oh, I do own (joint custody with my wife actually)
a PlayStation 2 and an Xbox360, but I kinda despise consoles mostly so in early 2011 I got myself a high-end PC to replace my old, average laptop.
