To my 2012 Secret Santa: I am back from BGG.Con and my Wishlist is officially up to date. Thanks for waiting!
I'm a life-long member of geekdom with a variety of interests ranging from board/card games, video games, photography, anime, and a budding interest in roleplaying.
My journey into boardgaming began when I was a wee lad. My grandma kept a closet of boardgames (Clue, Monopoly, Life, etc...). My sisters and I would play for hours while the boring grown ups talked about boring grown up things.
Eventually, I discovered M:tG. I played from Revised to 5th edition before growing tired of the system. I also tried Mage Knight and the DBZ CCG, but neither held my interest for very long. The next step was Munchkin. My high school friends and I would play every weekend.
College led to a little bit of Munchkin, Chez Geek, and Risk. There was a bit of a lull in my gaming after getting married and having our daughter. Eventually, I stumbled upon the Geek, and the rest is one big downward spiral.
I volunteer with Steve Jackson Games in their Men In Black program.
I hold a weekly board game night on Mondays from 5:00pm - 9:00pm at White Cap Comics in Standale, MI.
If you want to know anything else, just ask.
To my 2010 Secret Santa:
