Winning or losing, I enjoy a good game with a fun gaming partner. Games are all about the fun factor more than anything else.
I've been known to play all sorts and flavors of games, but I guess I'm mostly a Historical gamer
(I have a history degree, go figure). But I also like a good Sci-Fi game
(I also have a Computer Science degree, go figure). While I tend to prefer to play miniature games over boardgames with cardboard counters, I will never turn down playing a good board game. I also tend to like the games that don't require a Law Degree to play. I use to it seems, but I discovered years ago that a game doesn't have to be vastly complex and overly detailed to capture the flavor of the period being gamed, but most importantly I think a game has to be enjoyable when being played.
