I started playing board games in the fall of 2010. Once I learned the types of games I enjoyed (worker placement, deck builders, resource management, cooperative games) I was hooked. My game collection is growing and I've now had the chance to play several games and enjoyed many of them.
Board gaming is a nice change of pace from a society that focuses so much attention on staying connected electronically to the world at the expense of real human interaction. There is no substitute for getting together for a live game and having fun!
Having said that, I've come to the realization that solo gaming can be fun and a great way to stay more active in the hobby. Plus, with various aspects of my life taking up so much of my time, solitaire gaming allows me to fit in games whenever it's convenient.
For 2015, I plan on attempting the 10X10 Normal Challenge and I will try to make an effort to log my plays on BGG to track my progress. I look forward to exploring new games while revisiting old ones.
Happy Gaming in 2015 Everyone!
