IntroI am a queer, nerdy girl in Toronto, Canada. My ethnic background is Acadian (French-Canadian), and I am 28. I also speak German and Esperanto and can translate game rules for you. I also know some American Sign Language, Dutch, Finnish, Cantonese and a few others. I'm the inventor of Toki Pona.
I am a social gamer and prefer games that are accessible and relatively easy to learn for everybody, both experienced and new players, and that have a lot of interaction, teasing and camaraderie. Cute or attractive art and steamlined and elegant design also matter, but the bottom line is game quality. I love open-minded people from all walks of life. See my website for more info, including a link to my LiveJournal. If I've added you as a GeekBuddy, it means I like your taste in games.
