Dear SECRET SANTA... post present opening of Christmas Day 25th December... much alighted joy at feeling very very blessed in receiving Villa Paleti & Rattus. THANK YOU Santa!!! You went above AND BEYOND in providing two very wonderful games for me and my family to enjoy.
Much to my surprise... Villa Paleti was a complete HIT! With everyone... Christmas day was played with 7 people age 26 - 76 !
Then Boxing day even more to my surprise was the appeal of the game to my very active 3 year old nephew who loved it! It was fantastic to be able to play an inclusive game which ALL people of ALL ages in our family could get together and participate.
Thank YOU! for being so very kind and generous in your gifting.
YOU made Christmas an amazingly FUN time for me, my wife and our extended family...
Thank YOU once again dear Santa!
You are THE BEST!
Happy Gaming for the New Year!... and should you venture to Wales, UK... be sure to get in touch!
Updated Christmas (secret Santa opening eve)... Much excitement beckons... Can't wait to see what games will be gracing the table christmas day... Will I make it past this eve without opening? [rCOLOR=#FFCC00]updated 4/12 ten minutes later...
Curiosity is already getting the better of me... must resist... must resist...
Christmas has come early!!! But I continue to be a good boy and play along with my existing toys... until... Present time!
THANK YOU Santa! I will post an update once opened... round about... Christmas day!
Wait Santa... I'VE been chosen?!?!?! Please not an elf-prenticeship... or a DIY colour & build your own game... I'm not sure I'm up to the elfish antics... nor the cold weather that would await me that far north .
I have been a good boy this year and played many a game... and packed it away again nicely. I do look after all my toys made by your awesome elves!
By the way... if you need a recommendation of a stockist... http://www.shiregames.com/ are awesome and provide extra goodies to make me extra happy as well!
Thank you Santa! I know your elvish creation is gonna be elf-mazing!
My only wish is for joy and happiness in the world... and around my gaming table.
I play games with my wife most often and her enjoyment is an important consideration when we choose a game to play or purchase.
Although we do enjoy some heavy weight games, we usually like those that do not show too much favour to experienced players; thereby making them accessible to newbies, friends and family whom we also play a lot with.
Games playing from 6 to 8 people are usually required for family time and we often fall back upon favourites such as Bohnanza or Settlers of Catan; also teaming up to play other games with fewer players. Quality, quickly explained large player games seem hard to come by...
Well here's wishing you a very Happy Christmas & stockings filled with many a game to keep those elves out of mischief!
Have a blessed Christmas!
