I think you should realize these wings are really hot.
My father introduced me to the world beyond Risk and Monopoly; he was repaid with a D&D box set his sons played the hell out of. I gave up all my gaming while studying at a school two hours from Gen-Con, then rediscovered it along with an old friend in a new hometown.
I prefer historical gaming of any type (to paraphrase Ken Hite, if you tell me Kraggar the Terrible is a vampire, it's no big deal; tell me Abe Lincoln is, and you got a story). Adding the supernatural and/or the Lovecraftian is just icing on the cake.
