I cut my teeth on Risk and Axis and Allies. In high school, I became an avid mediocre chess player, competing in local tournaments. It wasn't until about 1997 that I really discovered the boardgaming scene...thanks to a good friend.

My collection has been steadily growing. I love the heavy multiplayer stuff. But I also really enjoy some of the mid-level complexity wargames. I'd probably get into the really involved stuff, too, if I had more time and interested opponents. That said, I have no problem spending time playing something light and luck-driven from time to time, too.

Lately, seems like I find myself more interested in 2p wargaming. I think I'm a fairly eclectic gamer, except that card games are not that interesting to me.
