I'm an emergency medicine resident-physician who doesn't have as much time for playing games as he'd like, but I make as much time as I can. I am married to an incredibly beautiful woman whom I don't deserve, and I'm blessed to have the best family imaginable.
I recently became a boardgame geek (sometime shortly before Christmas '09), and now I'm completely addicted--the future doctor salary will be nice to have as a support for said addiction. Currently, it can be tough for someone who has a ton of student loans to afford all these wonderful games, so if you're looking for someone to play with, hit me up--I generally like them all. My collection will, hopefully, continue to grow at a rate of 1 new game a month--or maybe every other month. I still have to ok this with the wife.
My current favorite game designers are Uwe Rosenberg and Stefan Feld. I'm also quickly gaining an appreciation for Martin Wallace, as I've recently picked up Automobile and London. Some of my favorite games right now are euros that use dice in clever and unique ways and allow for mitigating "bad" rolls: Alien Frontiers, Troyes and Stone Age are some of them. While I do love euros, I also love many Ameritrashers too: Descent, X-Wing, etc.My Top 10
