Gaming for 30+ years. Located in Melbourne, Australia. Member of the International Gamers Awards committee. Not doing a lot of gaming at the moment - some solitaire stuff, and a weekly social gathering. Set the ambitious task during 2008 of not buying anything new and playing what I own. That's crumbled by me buying Hamburgum and Brass.
Gaming has always had a fight with astronomy, but in 2007 astronomy took over. Came to the conclusion a 12" Dobsonian in a light polluted backyard was a waste of time and aperture. Sold it and bought a more portable 4" refractor - best thing I've done. Been observing with it from dark sky sites for nearly 12 months - fantastic.
I'll be back gaming during (southern hemisphere) winter
