I was first introduced to board games when I was young and played Monopoly
, Uncle Wiggily
etc. I always looked for more games to play that were more complex then roll and move. It was in the early '90's that I met up with some friends in college and the local sci-fi club who taught me Crayon Rails
and that was the start of my addiction.
I found out I really like to teach these games to other people who didn't know that these exist. All they grew up on was the same as me ,but never found the joy of things like Amun-Re
. Ok, Civ might be a bit too much for them.
My collection is slowly growing. I might run of space of these days ,but I Can't Stop
