I am a gamer in Dallas, Texas. I play pretty much all types of games and am willing to play anytime, especially if you are willing to come to my place to play.
I play with the Dallas Gamers regularly. We meet at Borders bookstore at Coit/Arapaho in Richardson every Tuesday night with 20+ gamers in attendance regularly. Check out the www.dallasgames.com
I have been gaming since probably before I could walk. The family game of choice was Rook, which to this day stands as my favorite game of all time. Fabulous trick taking card game that has tons of skill intermixed with the luck to keep it interesting. Conquest of the Empire and A&A were very prominent in my mid-teens. College consisted of many many Rook/A&A and Risk games early. In later years we found the 3M games Acqure and Stocks & Bonds and played them heavily. That is until the MTG Craze took me over. I came into MTG at Betas and left around the end of the first Ice Age (hah). Board games were re-discovered after a D&D phase with Settlers. I haven't looked back since.
I am married and my wife games with me at times. My 3 year old is getting interested already.
Note my ratings have been updated as of Feb 2007 to reflect the exact BGG descriptions, hence lots of low ratings. Note that I have not recieved any games as review copies (ever) and none of my ratings are influenced by corporate donation/pressure.
IMPORTANT: Always review the condition of my trades. I have a few that are really for parts only...
