Note to potential traders - these are the games I'm most wanting to trade for:
Super Dungeon Explore - Caverns of Roxor or expansion figures
Mantic Games stuff: Deadzone, Dreadball
Galaxy Defenders expansions
X Wing miniatures
Dust Tactics miniatures (mainly SSU)
Monsterpocalypse (pre-built armies or 2-player Battle Box)
Thunderstone Advance expansions
I'll consider most any trade offer, but I'm mostly interested in trading for items that are high on my wishlist. I don't tend to want to trade or sell OOP games for non-OOP games unless it is for something very high on my wish list. Things that are low on my wishlist often aren't worth the cost of shipping unless it is a multiple-game trade.
I played the "normal", mass-market games as a kid and thus, was driven-away from boardgames until my late twenties. Video games and computer games were my main diversion until I discovered an on-line version of Wiz War. This lead me to search for other board games. I eventually found Magic: the Gathering and the Wizards of the Coast store. This lead to Settlers of Catan, Tikal, Torres, Roborally.
I've played German and "Euro" games in the past, but I'm an Ameritrash fan. I don't mind the old school German games, but I can't stand worker placement, turning blue cubes into red cubes, into victory points, or anything that has "mechanisms". I just want my games to be fun.
I do have a weakness for fantasy-themed games, and light squad-based war games. I also enjoy co-op or "team" games with the right crowd.
Duel of Ages has been my favorite game since it was published.
