My ranking system is as follows:
Gold medal winner. A title that makes me proud to be a gamer.
Silver medal winner. A title I enjoy bringing to the table anytime.
Bronze medal winner. Solid title well worth being in my library.
I will listen to any offers of trade and while a trade may not happen, I will do my best in answering offers as soon as I can. I believe in treating others as I want to be treated. I list most of what I own For Trade and while this is true just because I list it For Trade does not in any way mean I am tired of said title or looking to trade it. My view is that there may be something I am looking for and would be willing to trade for it.
On that note, please understand that if I say, "Thank you but no thank you.", it is nothing personal and please do not take it as such. Also please make note that I have yet to sell a single title from my collection. I am not against it however I find that selling a title I have at cost (or cheaper) is just not worth my time and after shipping is added in it is cheaper to purchase online or at a local store.
Board games can be a tricky thing when one is trading. From a title that is Out of Print to a title that one views as "better", I understand. Now throw in such things as a promo(s) for said title and/or Kickstarter exclusives and things get even trickier. While I would like to say that such a promo(s) and/or Kickstarter exclusives should never be worth more than said title, this is not the case (sorry but facts are facts).
For me the best I can do is be respectful and should said title, promo(s), Kickstarter exclusives be more than I am willing to offer, I can at least walk away knowing what is being asked for said title/item. And if I have learned anything I have learned in this crazy world of board gaming is that title(s)/item(s) come and go.
Not all the titles I own will be a metal winner nor should they be. This is my personal ranking system and while said title may not get a metal it may be just a expansion or FAQ away from doing so...
