I'm an Englishman living in Germany. I am mightily impressed at the extensive range of games, mechanics and themes that are available to the modern gamer and I am intrigued at how these have remained hidden from the mainstream. I love good artwork and find a nice weighty game with a solid feel to it and beautiful picture on the front almost impossible to resist. I enjoy card driven games where the artwork primes the imagination and immerses you in the theme. I am also a collector at heart and enjoy acquiring things and cataloguing them.
I don't currently have a regular board gaming group. I play Dominion with my wife, Hogwarts and Castle Panic with my daughter, Agricola and Tzolkin with my mother, and Netrunner as often as possible. Much of my collection is unplayed, but I fully intend to play them all some day, when I have more time and players and my daughter is older. All games played are rated, those that remain N/A are unplayed. The collector in me loves to acquire more games and doesn't mind saving them for future use.
