www.fortressat.com). Obviously I like Ameritrash titles, however I will play almost anything and really what I like is the meta game. 4x games tend to be my favorite, currently
Twilight Imperium 3rd Edition - Shattered Empire is the gold standard. I also enjoy 2 player light wargames, Combat Commander and the Columbia block games are good examples. I tend to avoid passive aggressive games built around mastering a scoring mechanic and then executing the most efficient plan to exploit that mechanic. (Read most eurogames) I will play the better euro's like
Power Grid and
Tigris & Euphrates but tend to find the average eurogame boring.
