Galactus wants to know if you have been Naughty or Nice
I attempt to keep my ratings/comments current and try and have at least an initial comment after a play or two. My game rankings attempt to slot games to where i would prefer to play a higher ranked game vs something lower in most situations. Some games do qualify for a ratings bump due to a lifetime achievement award.

My Top 10

My Hot 10 - this represents games i want to play right now

Currently reading :

Flashpoints - The Emerging Crisis in Europe - George Friedman. Always enjoy Friedman's geopolitical take.

Last books read :

Red Sparrow - Matthews. Great opening entry from a former spy adding to the genre.

Act of War - Thor. Decided to try another recommendation. Might give him another shot or two.

Days of Rage - Taylor. It was okay and Pike's team has interesting characters, but I did not enjoy as much as Mitch Rapp.

Consent to Kill - Flynn. I plowed through the rest of the 13 books in Mitch Rapp series and really enjoyed them all. Nice to read thriller fiction with a good deal of Washington bureaucracy involved.

Separation of Power - Flynn. Bonus points for getting some of the main characters from Term Limits into the Mitch Rapp story.

The Third Option - Flynn. Washington betrayal that adds a nice level of intrigue.

Transfer of Power - Flynn. Crazy plot line but a fantastic way of not seeming completely ridiculous (no more so than some of Clancy's best efforts).

Kill Shot - Flynn. I like that this introduces a lot of the Washington politics into the equation that overlay a lot of the books in the series.

American Assassin - Flynn. Probably a bit too much background interlaced with a pretty shallow story. I think I'd skip.

Memorial Day - Flynn. Read this out of order, but heard that it was a great intro into the series. Good thriller more of a US version of some of Ludlum's best.

Term Limits - Flynn. Great thriller read that seems more applicable for today's times than when it was initially written with the Congress vs special forces/cia rivalry.

Blue Like Jazz: Nonreligious Thoughts on Christian Spirituality - Miller. With Donald speaking at our men's conference, I am going to try and plow through his books. This one was all over the map, but interesting about his own spiritual formation.

Anathem - Stephenson. Not too bad, but not near as good as Cryptonomicon.

Cryptonomicon - Stephenson. Came highly recommend. Took a long-time to get started, but pretty interesting for a thriller.

Measure of the Magic - Brooks. Ready to go back to Salvatore soon.

The Last Secret of the Temple - Sussman. Dan Brown with a bit more character depth. Interesting setting.

Bearers of the Black Staff - Brooks. Not as good as the armageddon's children trilogy but still interesting.

The Wise Man's Fear - Rothfuss. Enjoying this more than the first book.

Real Marriage - Driscoll. not the biggest fan of some of Driscoll's platform, but I thought this was a good read.

The Name of the Wind - Rothfuss. I enjoyed this for a bit of a different take on epic fantasy. Interesting telling the tale in this manner.

Code Red - Mauldin. Thought there would be better stuff here. Go read Endgame instead.

China's Urban Billion - Miller. I cannot differentiate much between the books on China's population and what it means. so so.

The Gypsy Morph - Brooks. I found this trilogy MUCH better the second go around. Intresting meshing of Shannnara and the underrated Word and the Void trilogy.
