I'm a sucker for rich themes, modular boards, story telling mechanisms, deductive reasoning and dice. That's not to say that I dislike Euro-style strategy (quite the opposite), more that I prefer the escapism. Gamebooks, too. I like them.
I have too many games on my Wishlist
and I'm dreadful at remembering to log my games played.
I'm still looking for the boardgame equivalent of the Myst
or Monkey Island
series... The official Myst
game just doesn't appeal. What were they thinking?[rant]
