I've been gaming since the mid 80s, starting with Risk, basic D&D, Dungeon and Dragonlance. Throughout the high school years and up to now I continued to expand my collection and interests. I'm willing to try about any game once, but prefer "Ameritrash" and deck builders.
I'm always looking for a new game my wife will like to play. So far she's into Da Vinci, Biblios, Scrabble (she wins every time), Pandemic: Contagion, Trans America and Ticket to Ride. Let me know if you have any suggestions. My daughter loves board games as well and regularly attends Con of the North with me.
After a few years of actively buying and trading to build up my collection, I've spent the past year trying to cut down my collection to games that I'll actually play. Of course I'm always willing to trade for other games on my want list.
Besides board games, I also DM D&D 3.5 for my daughter and her friends as well as with another group. I love the d20 system, if you have any books you are not using, maybe we can make a trade.
I paint minis for board games, etc. If you are interested in having anything painted check out what I've done at this site (in the photo gallery). http://minispainting.webs.com
