A Master of Science degree in mainly mechanics, but also medical engineering and fluid dynamics from the Royal Institute of Technology, "KTH", Stockholm, at the Aircraft engineering division, as one of the top students of 1981. (I participated in some student union work, where I had the opportunity to work together with Swedens future first Astronaut). A computer professional since 1982. Employee of SAAB, with some time at Ericsson, and the government military institution as well, doing studies in military wargaming. There I met the serious Wargaming hobby for the first time, the game Leopard II
Hobby: Likes to implement board games as computer software, the Artificial Intelligence aspect and the object-oriented polymorphic (i.e. "taking many different shapes
") modelling aspect of it, not too interested in the grafical user interface. I have done Ruse & Bruise
, Small World
, The Republic of Rome
, Attack Sub
, 7 Wonders
and Thirty Years War: Europe in Agony, 1618-1648
as hobby reimplementations, just for fun. None of them was ever completed or published. I had some influence on the making of the first PC History of the World
by Colorado Computer Creations, regarding the AI part, by email correspondence, but I was not mentioned in the credits as playtester but should have been IMHO.
Another hobby: Reading History books, not only WWII, all kinds.
