Grew up on D&D and the like as well as wargame type stuff and occasional Civ sessions. Nowadays beginning to discover the huge range of stuff that turned into a hobby since my youth! The reinvigoration started in about 1999 with typical newbie fare reviewed on sites like this: Settlers of Catan, T&E and Carsassonne. The journey continues (a cliche replacing "I'm running out of cupboard space") but I still miss sessions of Flat Top!
