I love tabletop gaming - There is nothing quite like sitting across from a physical opponent and interacting with others connected at the mindgrapes. I live near Memphis Tennessee and I am a pretty avid board gamer... I would like to consider myself a bit of an evangelical board gamer but I don't have the time to spread the hobby like I once used to. Luckily there is a network of enthusiastic young gamers (and a few old gamers) ready to teach this awesome hobby. Makes the job a lot easier. In most cases I'd be just as happy teaching a game and watching people play as actually sitting down and playing - which apparently freaks people out a little.
I do NOT log every game I play... but I'm trying to be better about it.
I will travel stupid distances to have a good weekend of gaming whether it be a convention or just a friend's home. My wife usually goes with me - even if she doesn't play every game I set up she supports my love for the hobby (and I love her for that).
I like clever mechanisms in games (the Euro side) and I also appreciate theme (the AT side) so many games that support both equally are right up my alley. I also enjoy a good co-op game as there's no reason to lock horns with your gaming buddies all the time, right?
My "Hot Ten" is reflective of my want to plays or just games that I am really excited about playing. Many of these games aren't even released yet - but that doesn't stop me from gettin' excited about them.
