Nailed it!
I love how you mix and balance the musings, explanation, and review- it makes all three parts much more enjoyable when they're juxtaposed in that way.

By the way:
Spoiler (mouseover to reveal):
Especially good timing on the whole prestige theme given that this is your most prestigious of geeky weeks! Choice or coincidence?

Sometimes one man's choice is another's coincidence. Did I just say that? Deep.

nice video!

As for the concept presently under scrutiny, it seems interesting to me that the word "prestige" comes from the Latin word prestigiae, which means illusion, trick, deception... something that looks like much, but that in essence is almost nothing...

It's fun, it's healthy, it's good exercise. The kids will just love it. And we put a little sand inside to make the experience more pleasant.

You know, they say there was a man who jumped from the forty-FIFTH floor? But that's another story...

I usually describe the prestige points as "Victory Points that are currency and Currency that gives you Victory Points."

Nice review.

Thanks.

Thanks for posting this vid! It really helped. My group has played the other expansions and have not been playing Race consistently enough to include this new expansion. Hope to get around to it soon. I was hoping that after some lengthy musing on prestige you would show the chip and say "as it turns out THIS is prestige." Not that it wasn't good as it is, because it is. Thanks again.
