It's a worldwide Diplomacy openings Tournement!

UPDATE! (see strategy links below)
Advert! ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TTTHQa6Y6XA)

At the moment this video is asking for participants, but as the tournement progresses (1 round per day), the series of videos will show the unfolding of this (I belive) to be the worlds first collaborative tournament.

The rules are on the video description. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HP0Un2g1V2w

Or you can discuss with me at the site. http://www.historygamer.com/2011/10/25/diplomacy-openings-to...

Essentially it's a social experiment.

I've no idea how it will play out in terms of the human psyche. Will people try thier best, communicate with each other to get the best moves out for each nation, will people be tempted to cheat?

Will it be a farce? Or a lot of fun where those seeing the series after the event can learn about diplomacy theory?

Will no-one care? Or is this a great way of getting diplomacy players together for a bit of fun? Either way I hope the event entertains.

You are still welcome, all it takes is just to declare which nation you want to play (every other day) for up to 7 times and then (optionaly) vote on the best move for that nation.

Anyway - just to say everyone is welcome regardless of their knowledge and skill level.
