You did the "first Tim." Don't know if I'd be posting that internationally (at least not without asking Tim first.)
Given the title-- INVASION OF CANADA-- it seems a tad unlikely that you'll get down to DC. You'll have to be satisfied at the thought of maybe burning Detroit instead.
Uwe!-- there's a call for an expansion to the game. Although if the US side actually puts up a fight at Bladensburg, the kindling in D.C. may be safe.
looks like some of you are having trouble and your game is missing a few pieces.Don't worry I'm sure if you call the creator of the game they can replace them.
You know, after the 'thing' with Conflict of Heroes, where I was basically forced to buy the 2nd game in order to get the first game as it should be.
[mind you I was so annoyed I never bothered}
It would have been logical for me to avoid any further Uwe products. Fool me once..... and all that....
But I will admit I was very impressed by the game components and so I find it almost impossible to resist buying STRIKE OF THE EAGLE. another Uwe game, but the promise of yet again great components and a totaly new kind of game..... Who could resist. [fingers crossed for him not reconsidering components]
Surprise suprise, a contest draws my attention to this canadian game and checking out reviews, I now find out it's yet again another Uwe game. And another must buy.
I'm really starting to dislike this chap as he's costing me far too much money.
As he now seems to do ever more games on other historical periods, I think he should do one on the 80 years war to make up for annoying me.
I own all of the Academy games titles up to this point and I just pre ordered this one. I don't consider myself to be a person who has to own all of the titles a company puts out but each of these games has individually been something I REALLY want to play. Hope I can use this to teach some of my casual/non gamer friends to play something I enjoy that isn't Risk. Good god I think I am becoming an Academy games fan boy!
