I agree, didn't bog people down to much with how and why or rules, but showed enough to keep people interested.
I maybe bias as I love the game and do get into the story, this helps new players as they then feel they can join in and have more fun, win or lose. I've also found it's best not to pile too much on new players in their first game, have a general run through and then explain certain rules as they appear.
Nice review. One thing I highly recommend to mitigate looking into the rule book a lot initially is the cheat sheets you can get for this game. Definitely worth the ink to print. I can never get enough of this game.
I watched this review and the other reviews in your series. They are all great! Keep up the good job!
A curious question: Do you happen to be sisters?
Thanks! And no, we're not related. Joanna and I met when working at the same convention--she was there promoting her webseries, Standard Action, and I was selling boardgames at the Starlit Citadel booth.

Aha. I thought you had similar faces, so that is why I asked.
Your reviews are well structured, and I especially like that you don't delve into the rules too much. For some people explanations of the rules are probably an essential part of a video review, but I always skip that part and head straight to the conclusion. I want to know what the reviewer thinks about the game.
This might sound sexist, but I have to say that it is refreshing with female reviewers. In my experience boardgaming with girls means begging, wrestling and tying them to a chair for a yearly game of Lost Cities. I had heard that there were girls who were into heavier games like Arkham Horror, but until I saw this video I wasn't sure that they existed.
Whoa, after watching a lot of badly shot and filmed videos of reviews, this one was fantastic. Really well-done and shot, with pretty good text. Big props to you guys!
Great overview - well scripted and well presented. I get that this overview is also a marketing tool, but it is so nicely done, it's hardly noticable. Also, Joanna, I like the web series - it's hilarious and campy. Big thumbs up, all around.

But, by Your names, I assume You're somewhat Polish-related girls?
I don't know much about Joanna's background, but yes, I'm Polish. Born in Krakow and grew up speaking the language at home, though we emigrated to Canada when I was very young and I pretty much grew up here. I still make it back when I can afford it, as my entire extended family is either in Poland or just across the border in the Czech Republic.
