This is fantastic! I've been looking forward to the PC adaptation of TS since it was first announced by GMT. P500 is just around the corner! Thanks for posting this on the Geek.

Is it just my imagination or did he have a hand of nine cards at the start of turn two?

Andres, I believe the appeal of the PC game is a much simpler interface to use, and even more importantly, computer AI.

Fantastic! It must be mine!

One thing: It would be great to have the language of the game customizable (more precisely: the language of the card texts). I have a number of gaming buddies who love TS but don't speak English good enough to play the game smoothly. So I made my own, German-language card deck and it would be wonderful if something similar would be possible with the PC game.

I know that implementing a game to fully support multiple languages is not that trivial, but as I said: it would be sufficient to have only the card texts customizable; for example by storing them in an ediable text file, XML file or whatever. I'm pretty sure that a lot of international geeks would provide translations for their language pretty fast

GMT has earlier said that the aI is playing evenly with the best players on wargameroom. Hopefully it holds true.

I think this will be a must buy for me. I don't have a FtF parner for this anymore and haven't yet gotten into the online play. This will make a nice convenient option to start up and play against an AI.

Any update on timing for when this PC game will be released? Also, how do I get it? I'm a die hard board gamer who sadly doesn't have much of a chance to play with people live, so I live for getting games either on iOS or through PC releases. I've long been very interested in Twilight Struggle, but had no way to check it out. Looking forward to hopefully being able to do that with this PC release. Keep me posted!
Thanks,
Mike

According to the GMT site the PC version of the game was supposed to be up for pre-order by the end of April.. Now we are mid May and no news. Anyone know anything, I guess there are plenty of people out there champing at the bit, I know I am.
