Great review! Nice job covering the basics and I strongly agree with your points about it’s strengths and weaknesses.

I’ve owned this for a while, and have played it a few times. When we’re in the mood for a co-op game, Pandemic is our go-to, but we do get this out now and again for a change of pace.

One minor point I’d add: The only flaw I found with the components is the board. Not the art, but it is a bit small and (my copy at least) doesn’t lay quite flat, which means the time counters moving around the edge of the board can be unstable. There are a few image files available here of the board and I’ve used those to print out a slightly larger (and flatter!) board to use.

Spot on review guy, I had the same issues with the rules as you, I'm glad after watching your video it wasn't just me or my play group that was totally confused by the rules layout, keep up the good reviews!

I'll have to check out the revised edition to see if they've tweaked any of those listed dislikes. I've had this in my wish list for a little while but forgot what it was since 'Red November' does not instantly cue images of drunk gnomes in a submarine for me. Thanks for refreshing my memory. I like co-ops so it's appreciated that in your review you do a multi-player and a solo playthrough. Cheers!
