My notes.

1. Good job on the video.
2. Having only played twice, I tend to agree that Innovation is a very good game.
3. Splay is a real word. It's not short for "display", although it's clearly related.
4. Why is Moorhead 4 hours away from the Twin Cities?

I seriously cannot wait for this game. I am going nuts waiting for this and the reprint of Glory to Rome to arrive at CoolStuffInc so that I can get my copies!

Thanks for the review. It's nice to see some video coverage.

Feel the same way, which is the reason why I couldn't wait for the OLGS to get it. I signed up for the pre-release copies they were offering. I only got it a month or so before everyone, but it has been worth every penny.

Thanks Doug, I feel like I know you since you have bought so many of my games so it is good to know I impressed you.

Bonus points for using "cogent" as well.

No sleeves? I'm surprised... I find it makes tuck/score actions much easier.

I sleeved them after I made the video (with the free sleeves Asmadi gave me for buying it through them!) because the light would have caused glare on the plastic.

It does make them easier. I dislike sleeves, and tried it without for a bit, but I have to admit that for this game they make sense. The penny sleeves it came with are too big, though, which exacerbates all the things that are annoying about sleeves.

Unique game, and I value that more and more.

Great review, thanks.

One tip: the sound is really hard and would be much better if you recorded in a 'softer' room (e.g. not concrete walls, carpeted floor).

Which brand sleeves are they? Mayday Greens? I'm looking to sleeve my copy (finally got it...)

Standard penny sleeves - Asmadi actually gave me some sleeves for pre-ordering the game through the company.

Wondering this myself, Mayday does not have this game listed, and the cards are fairly wide.
