Thanks for the video! Your review finally convinced me that these miniatures (as nice as they are) are something I will have to do without. True, they look good, but I am a gamer that will either have to get all of them or none at all, and that €200+ is simply too much.

Thanks for posting. Some of them look really awesome. I will say that the glasses don't look quite right - looks more like a zoro mask.

I have to say, when I heard they were coming out with minis for Arkham Horror, I was quite excited. That said, I am pretty disappointed with the quality - which seems on par with the Horrorclix level of quality. Obviously, self-crafted, custom minis are the way to go - or follow what my son did and made Lego representations of each. I can see people picking up their fav character, but I think i'll stick with my custom painted ones. Before everyone tears me appart, I realize it's difficult to get a level of detail with mass-made minis. Like Drakkenstrike said in the video, they are not on par with other minis out there for games.

Oh god, if they made minis for all the individual monsters I don't think I'd be able to resist.

And those would probably be double the price for each and I'd need twice as many to represent the monsters.soblue

I would love to see pictures of them on the game board. Given how much time I´ve spent on Arkham compared to other games its rather tempting to get the entire set.

Or just shell out the $80 for Mansion of Madness and save yourself $32 of that as it looks like you'll get 8 unpainted AH investigators (not to mention the 24 monsters), to jump start your AH minis. I'm wondering if they'll market the unpainted ones at some point.

Thanks for posting the video. It's a really great opportunity to see how these guys look close up.

The sculpts are great for the most part, but the paint execution is rubbish, particularly on the faces. They really should have used a wash, instead of painting in the eyes. Some of them look quite comical, unfortunately...

When they release these unpainted with Mansions of Madness and hopefully some expansions, I'd be more enthusiastic. For $4 each (plus postage) I would want to see better paint finish. Either that or release them at a lower price unpainted.

You mentioned city of theives. When I saw the demo the minis were not painted. I dont think they will be painted in the retail release either. I could be wrong, but I dont think that I am.

City of Thieves offers a set of painted miniatures outside of the game, similar to the arkham horror miniatures. The city of thieves miniatures have been on sale for about a month now.

I'm getting all 48 miniatures for Christmas from my fiance after she saw my eyes go wide watching this video. We love Arkham Horror, but the added bonus of being able to use them for our Call of Cthulhu games was too much to resist. Now I feel compelled to buy the Arkham Horror stuff from Litko!
