Sorry if this sounds insensitive, but, Why The FBOMB r u having a kid review this? Whats the advantage? Ask yourself what your purpose is here: Are you trying to make an enjoyable informative review or give a kid practice at talking or whatever? I mean, give him props for doing it while hes young but regardless of "the feat" of having a 7 - 10 year-old speak a review, its still a boring, slow, poorly worded review, spoken in a annoying off-kilter tempo

Your kid could practice talking and explaining things without actually uploading it.

I know beggars cant be choosy - but why tease us with the prospect of a english video review then subject us to this 3rd grade show and tell. Think about the end user here. PEACE

Intense.... Well without getting into a debate. Hayden only does reviews of games he really likes and wants people to know about.... as for the "end user", the BGG is not the audience we are trying to reach. Rather his friends, family members and other families out there that are clueless to the great games out there. Our purpose is to try and get families to turn off the TV and spend quality time with their children through the amazing hobby of gaming.

Hayden's dad gave a thoughtful response, so I'll try not to be as rude as I'd like to be. For someone whose post has at least a dozen grammatical errors, you're awfully judgmental about the quality of Hayden's review. Heaven forbid, a bright and funny young man try to encourage other people to game. If you don't find his reviews helpful, don't watch them. They're not for everyone, but neither is every game. Do you wander into forums for games you don't like and trash people who do?

And as to Hayden and his dad thinking of the end user, what you meant was, "Think about me...me, me, me. I don't like these, so stop it. Everyone should think about what I want." Gross.

I love it when people complain about FREE WORKS that people put their own personal time into developing. If you want a more adult video review, make one yourself, and leave Hayden alone. Hayden's been doing fine video reviews for months now

To Hayden's dad: Was Hayden under the weather or something? He didn't quite seem like his normal jovial self in this one.

Wow, relax. If you have that big of a problem with the Hayden's reviews stop watching.

As a father hoping to get my kids into gaming, I am the end user. I love these reviews! They're great for helping me find games that I can play with them.

Keep up the good work Hayden!

It was certainly insensitive, and unnecessarily harsh, and very rude.

There are alot of reasons I like gaming but I think the strongest is that it encourages my imagination to be as strong as it was when I was young. I think Hayden's reviews are great and it is always rad to see the games we play as adults through the eyes of a young person. Hayden defiantly sees the games with such a strong sense of imagination, desire for adventure, and shows a side to these games, that at least speaking for myself, that I sometimes miss.

@shovkmoth I think you couldn't have missed the mark more with your comment. I usually go to Tom Vassel's youtube page for reviews, then straight to Hayden's to see if he has done one. They are both varied and between the two I get every bit of information I need to decide If I am interested in the game.

Mark, I not only enjoy Hayden's reviews but am inspired by your family. You truly seem like great people and I really hope that I can share gaming and inspire imagination and adventure in my children, when I have them some day, the way you have with yours.

Thanks for all your review!

I also made a few Youtube videos, letting my daughter explain the games mostly, (Court of the Medici, and Thor) and honestly we just did it for fun. Not to get judged by anyone, its not a contest. I realize that the "reviews" we made totally suck, hehe... but that is not the point why we made it. Its just for the fun aspect, like "hey, you know what, lets try to make a review and put in on Youtube" for a child and parent that is a nice activity to do together. We can upload what we want, share what we want... and each of us can decide what to watch. But to post such a critical 'adult' comment related to an innocent review, which doesn't claim to be a holy grail of a review... that's a bit weird and uncalled for IMHO.

Wow, I'm embarrassed to be in the same state as "shockmoth." Please don't judge all Utahns based on one man's self-centered comments.

Hayden, I appreciate every video you've done. I probably watched a dozen of your reviews during Christmas-shopping season last year. I have 18 nieces and nephews and I helped their parents with nearly all of their game purchases. In almost every case, your videos influenced my decisions.

Bravo, young lad. You're videos are very valuable to me and thousands more.

I'm an end user, and I gotta tell you, I absolutely LOVE Hayden's reviews. Yes, as he's gotten older they get better, but as a parent trying to encourage and young boy to play games, I LOVE these reviews for a kid's perspective, but also because my child gets excited about these games thanks to Hayden.

You can't please everyone. I hope you keep it up.

Gads, when I first read this (the first comment!) I thought Hayden had uttered the FBOMB himself.surprise

That got my attention. Then I realized shockmoth used it to criticize Mark (Hayden's dad I think). After all the comments to his moronic post, shockmoth appears to be hiding... He's a big ZERO if you examine his ID though. My bet he's someone who created the ID just to... shock us.
